Invitation to a mysterious journey

江戸城比較図

"TimeSlip Taxi" is a taxi tour around the historical spots on an old map, mainly the castles of the Edo period, but also including the residences of daimyo (feudal lords) and samurai, the trade and artisans quarter, town magistrate's office, temples etc. Using the GPS function of a tablet device, all the historic spots are synchronized with points on the modern map and the historical information plays automatically to guide you in multiple languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean). Especially, if you hold up the tablet device, you can experience a virtual time travel experience using Street Museum, which utilizes VR (virtual reality) technology to reconstruct the tower of Edo Castle, leading to exciting and historical discoveries.
It also introduces ukiyoe depicting the landscapes and customs of the Edo period.
